Terms & Conditions for Chair Elegance

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of Chair Elegance (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our office furniture consultation, design advice, and website services, you (“the Client,” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”). These T&Cs govern all use of our services. If you do not agree to these T&Cs, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Chair Elegance provides consultation services related to office furniture, design, layout planning, and procurement advice.

  • Consultation Nature: All advice, recommendations, and plans provided are based on information supplied by the Client and are considered professional guidance, not a guarantee of outcome.

  • Product Sourcing Disclaimer: We may recommend third-party products; however, we are not responsible for the manufacture, warranty, quality, or delivery of products purchased from external suppliers. Any disputes regarding physical goods must be taken up directly with the respective third-party vendor.

3. Pricing and Payments

All service prices are quoted in the relevant currency (ZAR) and are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit card and bank transfer.

  • Invoicing: Invoices for consultation services will specify the total amount due and the applicable payment deadline. Services may not commence until the agreed-upon deposit or full payment is received.

  • Non-Payment: Failure to pay invoices by the due date may result in the suspension or termination of services.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the content, designs, concepts, materials, methodologies, and documentation provided by Chair Elegance (including, but not limited to, mood boards, design layouts, and advice documentation) remain the exclusive property of Chair Elegance.

  • The Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered materials solely for the specific project for which the Client engaged the Company.

  • The Client may not share, sell, or redistribute the Company’s proprietary materials without express written permission.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information required for the consultation service.

  • Ensure that any site access required for consultation (virtual or physical) is safe and compliant with all regulations.

  • Be responsible for the final execution of any design plan, including hiring contractors, ensuring structural integrity, and adhering to local codes and regulations.

6. Termination of Services

  • By the Client: The Client may terminate services by providing written notice. The refund policy is governed by the separate Returns & Refunds Policy.

  • By the Company: We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if the Client breaches these T&Cs, fails to make timely payments, or engages in unlawful or abusive conduct.

7. Limitation of Liability

Chair Elegance, its directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these T&Cs or the services provided is limited to the amount you paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
